ONTARIO, Oregon (CBS 2) — This Idaho Adventure has us scoping out some the latest machines that propel you into Idaho’s backcountry.
We all know that after this year's winter the snow is going to be sticking around for a while in the mountains.
At Edge Performance Sports in Ontario, they're busy snow checking the latest sleds for next year and getting people ready for spring riding.
"Desert riding right now is really, really good. You get out and see a lot of country you wouldn't normally get a chance to see and two, just the freedom and feeling that riding a dirt bike gives is very addictive, once you feel that it's hard to get rid of," said Marty Grindstaff, Salesman at Edge Performance Sports.
Marty says that right now is the time to get out on a dirt bike while we wait for mountain riding to open up.
If you don't think a dirt bike is for you, no problem, you can test ride any of the other four wheelers or side-by-sides on the track.
"We have a test track out back so if everybody comes down and wants to test drive stuff and see, bring your family down and see what fits and what works, we're really all about trying to find the right machine for them," said Chuck Scott, General Manager of Edge Performance Sports.
It's hard not to smile when you walk into a store like Edge Performance Sports but, in the end, it's the memories and smiles you make while on your adventures that really matter.
"Getting my family out, spending some time together, enjoying each other's company and seeing some places you don't normally get to see," said Scott.
