Ranbir Kapoor is one of the few actors who’s consistently been able to deliver on the big screen. His past movies like Wake Up Sid, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and more recently, Sanju, received a lot of love from the audience. Ranbir Kapoor has now two big projects lined up in the near future - Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera.
However, as per a recent report in an entertainment portal, Ranbir’s film with Vaani Kapoor might face a delay in the release as his other film, Brahmastra is taking up too many dates. The report also claims that Karan Johar met up with Aditya Chopra to discuss the issue and requested him to push the dates of Shamshera behind since he will require more dates of Ranbir to wrap up Brahmastra. Aditya agreed and dates were freed up for Ranbir to shoot Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt.
Apart from Ranbir, Brahmastra stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the film’s release date has been pushed twice from August 2019 to December 2019 and now to summer of 2020.
